Therefore, the importance of land and water resources in this country is immense. Land is the basic natural resource, which is the main source of daily necessities of food, industrial products, enjoyment, health protection, etc. But due to the increase of population, unplanned use of land, our important resources are diminishing day by day. With economic progress, urbanization is increasing, the scope of industrialization is increasing gradually, due to the continuous expansion of roads, hospitals and educational institutions, the per capita land area is gradually shrinking. Important The use of these resources is largely dependent on the right plans. Therefore, it is necessary to ensure the best use of natural resources, and the best use of limited land, through a proper appropriate plan, policy. In this regard, the Land Use Policy has already been formulated from the Land Ministry.
After independence of Bangladesh in 1971, after independence of Bangladesh through a great war of liberation under the leadership of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, a full-fledged ministry was formed to perform all the affairs related to the land.
